Claudia Boschung

was our Office Manager in the start-up phase from January 2017 until January 2022 and has been establishing the Professorship for Learning Sciences and Higher Education of Prof. Manu Kapur. She provided administrative and organizational support to Prof. Kapur and his lab members.

Claudia holds a Diploma in Business Administration (1985) and for many years, she gained professional experience as a secretary and apprenticeship trainer in various profit and non-profit organizations. At the University of Applied Sciences, Claudia studied Social Work as a second course of education and gained the Swiss Federal Diploma in 1997. As a social worker, Claudia has worked with foster parents and was in charge of international adoptions as well step-child adoptions.
At ETH Zurich, she has been establishing a professorship in Architecture and Design of Prof. Josep Lluis Mateo from 2002 to 2007 and in fall 2007, she started as Office Manager at the Chair for Research on Learning and Instruction of Prof. Elsbeth Stern where she is working until today.

In parallel, Claudia graduated as a Coach SCA and Team Coach ACSTH in 2015 as well as an Adult Educator SVEB in 2017. Since then she is the owner of a coaching company and lives her passion as a life coach and mentor as a complement to her work as an Office Manager at ETH Zurich. Under the professorship of Prof. Manu Kapur, Claudia was in charge of the onboarding and administrative support for a new professor in 2021, where she subsequently took over the Office Management of Prof. Sarah Hofer.
