Laura Bock

Laura Bock is enrolled as a doctoral student in the ETH Zurich - EPFL Joint Doctoral Program in the Learning Sciences (JDPLS) and joined the Professorship for Learning Sciences and Higher Education in September 2024.

Her research project aims to investigate the interplay between embodied learning and curiosity, exploring how physical experiences shape our desire to discover and learn. Through her work, she hopes to identify new ways to cultivate curiosity in embodied learning environments, not only to enhance learning outcomes, but also to inspire a lifelong passion for discovery in students.

Laura’s academic journey is based on a fascination for the human mind. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Tübingen and a Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Trento.
