Carina Daniela Känzig

was a doctoral student at the Professorship for Learning Sciences and Higher Education and the department of biology at ETH from March 2019 to July 2021. Prior to returning to ETH after her master's degree in biology she taught several STEM subjects at high school level.

In her research Carina focused on diagnosing and promoting students' understanding of interdisciplinary concepts in life science education. Carina decided to discontinue her doctoral studies to return to teach at a 10th school year and continues to work at the Center for Active Learning at the Department of Biology at ETH.
